Brown Babies: The Mischlingskinder Story is a powerful new documentary which tells 
the story of six so-called “brown babies” born in postwar occupation Germany.
They were born to German women and African-American soldiers. As illegitimate, biracial, bicultural childrenwho were unwanted by enemy nations, their lives were tragic. For the first time Brown Babies: The Mischlingskinder Story reveals this little known remarkable piece of history through the compelling life stories of the children and their birth parents.
Regina Griffin is the Executive Producer of Brown Babies: The Mischlingskinder Story. She is an Emmy award-winning news producer formerly of CBS News and is currently Executive Producer of Sunday Morning Programming at WUSA-TV.
Charles E. Williams, Jr. is the producer and editor for Brown Babies: The Mis
chlingskinder Story. He is an Emmy Award winning producer/editor who has worked in the film and television industry for over 25 years.
Some of the projects he has worked on are New York in Black and White, Defining Moments and Bringing Home Rosie. Williams is currently working for CBS Television in New York City.
Coming in February 2011 Williams plans to release "Journey Into Manhood, A Conversation."
Bobby Burwell is the Executive Film Composer/Music Scorer for Brown Babies: The Mischlingskinder Story. As a film music producer, Burwell has had a long working relationship with the Soul World Entertainment, Lionsgate Films and Tyler Perry Productions providing music for the films Why Did I Get Married (2006) and The Family That Preys (2008). He provided different genres and styles of music from early German classical overtures to contemporary urban rhythms. Like many composers he studied piano as a child. His primary interest is to provide the audience with a quality musical experience when viewing this documentary.
